Kidnapping suspect’s court date postponed

The man accused of kidnapping a 9-year-old Saratoga County girl will not be in court Friday as was originally scheduled.

The court-appointed attorney for Craig Ross Jr. asked for an adjournment. The case has been rescheduled for Nov. 21 at 11:30 a.m. in Milton Town Court.

Law enforcement sources have told NewsChannel 13 that Ross was not employed full time. The divorced 46-year-old occasionally did odd jobs such as minor home repair and drywall installation.

Ross is being held in the Saratoga County Jail. Where he is on constant supervision. Sheriff Mike Zurlo said authorities are making sure Ross doesn’t try to harm himself.
