Florida A&M has announced the 2024 homecoming football game date.
The Rattlers will play against the Southwestern Athletic Conference West’s Texas Southern on Nov. 2, 2024.
No start time is set, but FAMU has traditionally kicked off its homecoming football game at 4 p.m.
FAMU announced the game Friday, six days after the Rattlers hosted homecoming and defeated Prairie View A&M 45-7 on Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium.
Bragg garnered 22,338 fans at last week’s homecoming football game, over 2,500 more spectators than 2022’s game.
Alongside the 2024 FAMU-TSU homecoming game, the Rattlers have four other games scheduled for next season thus far, according to FBSchedules.com.
FAMU will play in Week 0’s MEAC/SWAC Challenge versus Norfolk State in Atlanta on Aug. 24. Then the Rattlers will have their home opener at Bragg versus South Carolina State on Aug. 31. FAMU will also play at NCAA Division I-Football Bowl Subdivision opponents Miami (Week 2/Sept. 7) and Troy (Week 4/Sept. 21).
The Football Championship Subdivision Coaches Poll’s 13th-ranked FAMU football team is in Huntsville to take on SWAC East opponent Alabama A&M.
The game kicks off at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on ESPN+.
The Rattlers, who have already clinched a spot in Dec. 2’s SWAC Championship, can secure the league’s top finish with a win.
