RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – WRAL TechWire keeps tabs on the latest meetups, panels, workshops, conferences, application deadlines and everything happening in the entrepreneurial, technology and business communities in the Triangle and across North Carolina.
Following is a list of events in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the greater Triangle area through the end of October. Many events will be held in person, as some organizers are returning to a live format.

All Things Open 2023 Oct. 15–17 @Raleigh Convention Center
All Things Open, one of the largest open-source technology conferences in the region and nationwide, returns this year with an engaging program for designers, developers, entrepreneurs, technologists and business leaders of all skill levels.
Biomanufacturing Training & Education Center Career Fair Oct. 16, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. @James B Hunt Jr. Library
Led by NC State University’s Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center, this job fair targets students and alumni pursuing careers in biotechnology, biomanufacturing and other life science fields.
RIoT Demo Night 2023 Oct. 16, 4-8 p.m. @Raleigh Convention Center
RIoT’s Demo Night is back, featuring over 50 IoT and technology demos across different verticals. The annual event is held in conjunction with All Things Open.
Taking the Leap Oct. 16, 6-8 p.m. (online)
Offered by the NC Small Business and Technology Development Center, Taking the Leap is a free, four-week cohort covering the ins and outs of starting a business, including identifying target markets, writing business plans, running finances and branding/marketing.

Government Vendor Network is a quarterly meeting for NC TECH-member companies interested in doing business with the state government. Note: This is a hybrid event.
Pendomonium Oct. 17–19 @Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts
Pendo’s popular Pendomonium festival is back and in person. The event will include over 30 breakout sessions, keynotes from multidisciplinary leaders, hands-on training, networking and more sessions centering around product development strategies.
