Breezy Sunday gives way to frosty start Monday
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Sunday brings more of the same.
Perhaps some clouds streaming in through the morning, but they too should make quick work to exit as we head through the afternoon.
The highs on Sunday are about the same as Saturday in the middle 60s.
The one thing to watch out for on Sunday will be the breezes.

They will once again return around mid-morning and stick around all day. They may not be as strong as Saturday but another noticeably windy day on tap. Western counties (west of the Ridge) will again see the strongest winds.
We are looking ahead to a rather quiet week of weather.
Lots of sunshine and warm temperatures by the end of the week, however, in order to get there, we will have to deal with some rather chilly mornings on Monday and Tuesday morning.
In fact, it is so chilly that some of us may see our first rounds of some frost or even freeze on Monday morning as the winds will go calm and that will really allow the temperatures to drop as we start the new work week.

Some counties north of Lynchburg are already under freeze-watches – we’ll see if additional counties get places under that, or a frost advisory later today.
